Job description

Yamaha is seeking to fill a Service Market Analyst III for our facility in Kennesaw, GA. The position will oversee industry information and statistics for Marine Service Management for the purposes of strategic planning and implementation and will research, gather and analyze information and provide directional opinions to Marine Service Management and/or other groups. This position will serve as the point person for Marine Service Group.
What you'll be doing:
  • Oversee the preparation of Marine Service Management reporting and presentations for management teams.
  • Lead the support of the business planning process for the Marine Service group.
  • Oversee the Market Analyst in developing presentations for all other Divisions for internal and external use.
  • Oversee and maintain Yamaha marine warranty and industry information/statistics to support operational reporting, strategic planning and executive decision making.
  • Prepare year-round reporting weekly/monthly marine service planning presentations.
  • Analyze Marine Rigging Parts, Accessories, and Yamalube dealer engagement.
  • Lead the implementation of new business initiatives.
  • Works under limited oversight from the Operations and Planning Manager.
    Provides direction to the Market Analyst on various tasks and projects.
  • Proficiency in (e.g., SQL, Python, Tableau, Power BI, Business Objects) is required.
  • Strong analytical, presentation and oral communication skills are required.
  • Must have a passion for the outdoors, boating and fishing.
  • Must be able to travel with minimal notice.
  • Must perform all other duties outstandingly and consistent with guidelines, as assigned.
  • Perform other duties as required.

What you need to be successful:
  • BA / BS degree in Business or a related field is required; degree in Market Research is a preferred.
  • 3 - 5 years experience in an analytical role required.
  • 2 - 3 years of industry experience required.
  • Strong proficiency of MS Office (i.e., Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, etc.)
