Description

Yamaha is seeking a rock star Part-Time Dealer Field Support Specialist who will be at the “front line” of training and merchandising in the San Francisco Bay Area. This position serves the Guitar Center Storefronts by identifying opportunities for product training and creates the best possible experience in those storefronts.

This position is Part-Time: estimated 2-3 days a week, 6-8 hours per day. Based in the San Francisco Bay Area

Responsibilities
  • Work consistently with Sales Training Manager and National Account Manager to grow the retail business through focused training and merchandising activations
  • Travel and provide support to National Accounts Storefronts within assigned territory
  • Educate and train dealer/retail sales associates on Yamaha products, technology, and brand through contact during store visits and phone calls
  • Maintain a highly visible presence in National Account stores throughout territory via account visits
  • Provide insightful feedback from account visits to Sales Training Manager about store needs (low stock, floor changes, damaged displays, competitor information, etc.)
  • Provide trade show support as requested by Sales Training Manager and/ or Marketing depts.
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Compensation
  • Compensation for this position will be paid at a daily rate of $165.00/day + mileage.
Here’s What You’ll Bring to the Table
  • High School Diploma Plus Previous Guitar Center retail or operations experience required
  • Music Technology savvy
  • Passion for building relationships with store associates and managers
  • Confident public speaker with strong presentation skills
  • Willing to work a part-time position
  • Must be able to travel extensively within assigned territory
  • Individual will need to have reliable transportation
  • A mobile device with data access is required to submit store reports
