About the Position

Premier Restoration Group is seeking an experienced Restoration Project Manager and Xactimate Estimator to help lead residential and commercial restoration projects throughout South Florida.

This position combines estimating, planning, client communication, and project oversight. The person joining our team will be responsible for turning field conditions and supporting documentation into a complete scope of work, a well-written estimate, and an organized plan for execution.

Strong, hands-on Xactimate proficiency is required. This is not an entry-level Xactimate training position.

What You Will Be Responsible For

• Inspect project sites and document visible conditions, measurements, damages, and required work
• Develop clear and complete scopes for mitigation, remediation, and reconstruction
• Prepare detailed Xactimate estimates using appropriate line items, quantities, labor minimums, equipment, materials, and current pricing
• Build estimates from photographs, field notes, measurements, drawings, reports, and subcontractor proposals
• Review estimates for missing scope, duplicated work, inaccurate quantities, and potential profitability concerns
• Prepare estimate revisions, supplements, change orders, and supporting documentation
• Respond to estimate questions from clients, adjusters, consultants, property managers, and other project stakeholders
• Establish job schedules and coordinate field employees, subcontractors, vendors, materials, permits, and inspections
• Track project costs, production, billing, approved changes, and overall financial performance
• Maintain organized job files containing photographs, daily reports, correspondence, contracts, estimates, and supporting records
• Recognize issues early and communicate potential delays, additional work, or budget concerns before they affect the project
• Keep clients and the internal team informed from project setup through final closeout

Xactimate Requirement

Applicants must be able to work independently in Xactimate and produce professional estimates without relying on another team member to complete or substantially rewrite them.

The right candidate should be comfortable:

• Writing both mitigation and reconstruction estimates
• Selecting appropriate line items and supporting them with documentation
• Applying labor minimums, equipment charges, material quantities, and current pricing
• Creating rooms, sketches, notes, photographs, and supporting attachments
• Identifying legitimate omissions and preparing properly documented supplements
• Reviewing another estimate and clearly explaining differences in scope or pricing
• Revising estimates accurately as additional information becomes available

Candidates invited to interview may be asked to provide a redacted example of prior estimating work or complete a practical Xactimate exercise.

Required Qualifications

• Professional experience in restoration, remediation, reconstruction, or a related construction field
• Demonstrated experience preparing estimates and supplements in Xactimate
• Working knowledge of water mitigation, mold remediation, fire-related damage, and construction build-back
• Understanding of construction materials, trade sequencing, job costing, and project scheduling
• Ability to interpret plans, measurements, reports, photographs, and written scopes
• Strong judgment, organization, communication, and follow-through
• Ability to manage multiple active projects without losing control of details or deadlines
• Professional communication skills when working with clients and project stakeholders
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
• Ability to travel to projects throughout South Florida

Preferred Qualifications

• Three or more years of restoration project-management or estimating experience
• Experience managing residential, multifamily, condominium, or commercial projects
• Familiarity with insurance-related documentation and estimate-review processes
• IICRC certifications such as WRT, ASD, or AMRT

Compensation and Benefits

• Annual salary of $65,000–$90,000
• Paid time off
• Company vehicle available for travel between the office and project sites

Final compensation will be based on the candidate’s restoration background, project-management experience, technical knowledge, and demonstrated Xactimate proficiency.
