The Security Officer position helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area. Frequently our Security Officers will provide customer service and information to a client's employees and customers.

BOSTON TD GARDEN
Job Title: Security Event Officer
Starting Pay: $18.96 /Hour
Schedule: Based on events primarily NIGHTS and WEEKENDS and general time range of 5:00 PM-11:30 PM
Events: Event Officers have the opportunity to work home games for the Celtics and Bruins, Concerts, Comedic Shows, WWE / UFC events, ice shows, graduation ceremonies and MUCH more!
General Responsibilities:
  • Crowd control to ensure patrons are following appropriate policies
  • Maintain a positive environment for all guests
  • Assist Boston Police Department in emergency situations at the event
  • Monitor entrances and exits to prevent unapproved or unlawful entry
  • Check bags to ensure weapons or unauthorized paraphilia don't enter venue
  • Attend training and Event Staff meetings as required
  • Conduct periodic patrols as assigned
  • Carry out other job functions / duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Possess a High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Ability to speak, read and write English
  • Able to pass a criminal background check & drug screening
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time
  • Security knowledge or customer service related skills (1 year)
