What We Need

2K is looking for an experienced Lead Security Architect to grow our Security Engineering team.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience designing and operating medium to large enterprise environments, with a genuine interest in Cloud and Product Security. As a member of the Security Engineering team, you'll work closely with our Tech and Development departments, as well as many of their teams. You'll help them get the most out of our environments and look for opportunities to improve security, reliability, and efficiency across the enterprise. You'll also help shape technical direction for the team and mentor other security engineers as they grow.

Technical skills and experience matter, but so does the ability to collaborate. You'll work with leaders and engineers across the technology teams to understand their needs and build secure solutions together.

What You'll Do
  • Design, architect, and implement defensive security controls for Amazon AWS, Microsoft Windows and container orchestration systems like Kubernetes.

  • Serve as the go-to resource on our public cloud environments, with a focus on Cloud IAM, Network Security, Network Policy, and orchestration technologies.

  • Maintain engineering and security documentation, and provide training and security awareness to employees.

  • Research and recommend automated approaches to system administration that improve both security and stability at scale.

  • Mentor other engineers on the Security Engineering team, helping raise the bar on architecture and secure design practices.

  • Lead architectural reviews and drive consensus on security design decisions across teams.

What Will Make You A Great Fit
  • Experience with Linux architectures and enterprise security design, and the ability to explain complex topics clearly to a technical audience.

  • Comfort with scripting and automation (e.g. PowerShell, Bash, Docker, Terraform, HashiCorp Stack, Kubernetes) and familiarity with Infrastructure as Code concepts.

  • Around 5 years of experience in an engineering-focused role at a medium to large enterprise, including experience mentoring or guiding other engineers.

  • Working knowledge of the Linux Platform as a Service and its challenges in a retail or product environment.

  • Working knowledge of modern zero trust architecture patterns and experience applying them in a production enterprise environment.

  • Experience in the technology or gaming industry is a plus.

As an equal opportunity employer, we are committed to ensuring that qualified individuals with disabilities are provided reasonable accommodation to participate in the job application or interview process, to perform their essential job functions, and to receive other benefits and privileges of employment. Please contact us if you need reasonable accommodation.

Please note that 2K Games and its studios never uses instant messaging apps or personal email accounts to contact prospective employees or conduct interviews and when emailing, only use 2K.com accounts.
