Job description

Overview:

We are seeking motivated individuals to join our team for a seasonal opportunity running from early June through the Back to School season. In this role, you will play a crucial part in delivering exceptional customer service, driving sales, and maintaining the reliability of store operations during our peak seasons. This temporary position offers an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in a retail environment while contributing to the success of our team during busy periods.

Job Description:

  • Greet and help customers politely.
  • Provide product details and assist with inquiries.
  • Address customer concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Engage customers to suggest products.
  • Upsell and promote special offers.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Receive and unpack merchandise shipments.
  • Stock shelves according to company standards.
  • Ensure accurate labeling and pricing.
  • Follow assigned work schedules punctually.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Previous retail or customer service experience preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Requirements:

  • Constant movement, talking, reaching, grabbing, and standing for at least two hours.
  • Occasionally stoop, kneel, crouch, or climb ladders.
  • Lift objects up to 50 lbs. repeatedly.
  • Stand or walk for at least 8 hours daily.
  • Ability to climb step stools or ladders.
