AT-MWSI Position Objective:
Work with General Manager, Aquatic Manager and Aquatic Team on all aquatic daily operations thereby ensuring company core values, customer satisfaction, quality product, and lesson standards are maintained at the highest level. It is imperative that the AT-MWSI is always improving their quality of lessons and supporting the AT-WSI team. AT-MWSI team members fall under the job description and responsibilities of an AT-WSI in addition to the responsibilities listed below.
The responsibilities of an AT-MWSI are outlined as follows in the TEAM approach:
  • 'T'= TRAIN: Train new AT-WSI in the water by co-teaching lessons and giving effective feedback using their Critical Eye. Through co-teaching, the AT-MWSI helps the AT-WSI to understand the information presented in the Foundations Course and Swim Levels Essentials Course and how it is applied in swim lessons.
  • 'E'= EDUCATE: Educate new and existing AT-WSI's by explaining and demonstrating the required skills in the water and assisting them in the common challenges AT-WSI's face. Help new AT-WSI candidates understand all the responsibilities their job requires.
  • 'A'= ASSESS: Use their Critical Eye to conduct assessments of new and existing AT-WSI's to ensure quality and consistency meet or exceed the Aqua-Tots Standards. Identify inconsistencies in teaching and give constructive feedback in an effective manner.
  • 'M'= MENTOR: Develop the next generation of excellent swim instructors for Aqua-Tots by building relationships, demonstrating leadership, and being an excellent example

AT-MWSI duties include:
  • Co-Teach with new AT-WSI's through their Co-Teaching hours ensuring they work through each phase
  • Train In-Water Skills Education for new hires to the Aqua-Tots Standards and Curriculum
  • Conduct AT-WSI assessments on all Aquatic Staff
  • Uphold the Advanced Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) when teaching Aqua-Tots curriculum
  • Perform the Deck Supervisor Roles and Responsibilities
  • Assist and lead In-Services for Aquatic Staff as needed
  • Teach and provide feedback to the Aquatic Staff on the Aqua-Tots Standard in Levels 1-6
