Job Summary
The Fusion Studio for Entertainment and Engineering (FSEE) is seeking a Graphic Design and Digital Content Intern who is highly motivated, self-directed, and creative, with a strong interest in developing compelling visual content for digital platforms. This role focuses on designing engaging graphics, visual assets, and branded materials that support storytelling and audience engagement across social media and other digital channels.
The FSEE Center's mission is to connect and serve those at the intersection of engineering, technology, and the entertainment sector. In this role, you will help translate that mission into visually impactful content that resonates with industry practitioners, educators, and students.
Must be a Purdue Undergraduate student to be eligible for this position.
Long Description
Individuals will work remotely and will meet with operations manager of the Fusion Studio weekly in the main office of the Department of Theatre. Individuals must also be responsive to contact/requests by email within 24hrs.
Employment type is part-time (10-15 hr/wk) @ $15/hr
Key knowledge, skills and personal attributes include:
  • Highly proficient with graphic design tools such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Canva or Marq.
  • Ability to create original, professionally written, high-quality content (for all channels).
  • Understand of social media content procedures and constraints across multiple platforms (Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn)
  • Interest in formulating strategies with the operations manager to build and nurture a new community on an accelerated timeline.
  • Ability and willingness to use Purdue branding tools and templates for marketing designs and content.
  • Strong oral and written communicator
  • Detail oriented
  • Works well independently under pressure and with deadlines
  • Flexible schedule to adjust to changing demands
  • Open to accepting constructive feedback

This position will begin at the start of the Fall 2026 semester.
