Job description

Overview
This position will assist current employees with daily duties in the Field Operations Department.
Responsibilities
  • Assist the Planning, Engineering, and Construction Section with various reporting and tracking methods designed to support departmental programs;
  • Assist with Project design;
  • Assist in reviewing and provide input regarding current recommended procedures and Distribution Standards;
  • Assist in research and development of instruction manuals outlining directives and equipment usage for projects.
  • Assist in documenting current Safety Procedures;
  • Assist in reviewing accident/claim reports;
  • Assist Superintendent of Training/Safety with special projects and assignments.

Qualifications
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering, Safety Science, or Occupational Safety,
  • Must have verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with all levels of employees;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office;
  • Must have organizational management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and usually under short deadlines.
