Summary: The job of Classroom Teacher is done for the purpose/s of providing support to the instructional process by serving as a teacher with specific responsibility for supervising students within the classroom and other assigned areas; developing lesson plans and delivering group and individual student instruction within established curriculum guidelines; collaborating with other teachers, other professional staff, and administrators in addressing instructional and/or classroom issues; and responding to a wide range of inquiries from students' parents or guardians regarding instructional program and student progress. The job of Student First Network Curriculum Developer is done for the purpose of supporting the instructional system across Student First Network schools by designing and developing high-quality, standards-aligned instructional materials for Grades 6 10. Responsibilities include creating daily lesson plans, aligned slide decks, Demonstrations of Learning (DoLs), formative and summative assessments, and intervention supports aligned to district instructional expectations and Louisiana standards. The position collaborates with district leaders, content teams, and school-based staff to ensure coherent curriculum implementation that improves student outcomes.

Essential Functions/Qualifications/Requirements:
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree required. Current Louisiana teacher certification.
Demonstrated success in middle or high school instruction (Grades 6 10 preferred)
Experience developing standards-aligned lessons, assessments, or curriculum resources strongly preferred
Experience working with HQIM, LEAP-aligned instruction, or structured lesson architecture models preferred
