Description

PACTEC, INC.

Job Type: Full-time

Location: Clinton, LA

PacTec, Inc. is a leading manufacturer of engineered flexible packaging and containment solutions, serving the nuclear decommissioning, hazardous waste remediation, oil and gas, utilities, and environmental compliance markets. For over 35 years, PacTec has helped customers safely and efficiently contain, transport, and dispose of regulated materials, and is now investing in building out a modern, data-driven marketing function to support its continued growth.

PacTec is seeking an inventive, experienced Senior Marketing Specialist to join our growing team.  The Senior Marketing Specialist is responsible for leading the day-to-day execution of PacTec's marketing programs - spanning campaign execution, CRM and marketing technology utilization, content strategy, and lead generation in close partnership with the sales organization. This is an execution-focused role for an experienced marketer who is comfortable owning programs from strategy through delivery, working with limited day-to-day oversight, and operating in a fast-growing, lean organization where priorities can shift and structure is still being built.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, execute, and optimize multi-channel marketing campaigns (digital, social, email, print, and event-based) that generate qualified leads and support sales pipeline growth

Own day-to-day execution within PacTec's marketing technology stack, including HubSpot, Salesforce, and ZoomInfo, ensuring campaigns are properly tracked from outreach through conversion

Partner with sales leadership to align marketing programs with business priorities and support the development of corporate account and distribution partnership initiatives

Develop and manage content across the website, social media, email, and sales collateral, maintaining consistent brand standards across all channels

Analyze campaign and website performance data to identify trends, report on key metrics, and recommend improvements to marketing ROI

Coordinate trade show participation, including materials, samples, logistics, and post-show follow-up and CRM data capture

Conduct market and competitive research to identify new opportunities across PacTec's target industries

Manage relationships with external agencies, vendors, and partners supporting marketing execution

Support and mentor junior marketing team members, contributing to a stronger, more strategic marketing function over time

Bring an informed, practical perspective on how AI tools can be used to improve marketing productivity, content development, and campaign performance

Requirements

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience

7+ years of progressive B2B marketing experience, including hands-on campaign execution and content development

Demonstrated experience with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) and marketing automation tools (e.g., HubSpot)

Strong working knowledge of digital marketing channels, including SEO, paid digital advertising, email marketing, and social media

Proven ability to track and report on marketing performance metrics and translate data into actionable recommendations

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical or industrial concepts into clear customer-facing messaging

Comfort operating with a high degree of autonomy in a lean, fast-paced, and evolving organizational environment

Preferred Qualifications

Experience marketing to industrial, technical, or regulated B2B buyers (e.g., oil and gas, construction, environmental, utilities, or related sectors)

Experience leading or participating in a CRM or marketing automation platform implementation

Familiarity with AI-assisted marketing tools and workflows (e.g., for content development, campaign optimization, or data analysis)

Relevant certifications (e.g., HubSpot, Google Ads/Analytics)

Skills & Competencies

Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent priorities

Analytical mindset, with comfort drawing conclusions from data to guide marketing decisions

Self-directed and resourceful, with sound judgment about when to act independently and when to escalate

Collaborative working style, with the ability to build strong relationships across sales, leadership, and external partners

Genuine curiosity and willingness to learn new products, markets, and technologies

Work Environment

This role is based primarily on-site at PacTec's Clinton, LA headquarters, with some flexibility depending on business needs. Occasional travel to trade shows, customer sites, and PacTec's Baton Rouge office may be required.
