Job description

We are looking for a driven Entry Level Accountant to join a collaborative finance team. This opportunity is well suited for a recent accounting graduate who wants to develop practical experience in financial reporting, reconciliations, and close activities within a detail-focused business environment. The person in this role will contribute to core accounting operations while partnering with experienced team members to ensure accurate records and timely reporting.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Support routine accounting activities across payables, receivables, and general ledger processes to help maintain accurate financial records.
โ€ข Create and record journal entries with appropriate backup documentation and attention to accounting accuracy.
โ€ข Reconcile bank activity and balance sheet accounts, researching and resolving variances in a timely manner.
โ€ข Contribute to month-end and year-end closing tasks by preparing schedules, reviewing data, and assisting with account analysis.
โ€ข Help compile financial statements, internal reports, and other recurring summaries for management review.
โ€ข Examine financial information for inconsistencies and work with team members to clarify or correct discrepancies.
โ€ข Maintain organized accounting files, spreadsheets, and system records to support reporting, audit readiness, and compliance needs.
โ€ข Assist with expense report review, audit support materials, tax-related schedules, budgeting support, and other assigned accounting projects.

โ€ข Bachelorโ€™s degree in Accounting is required.

โ€ข 0โ€“2 years of accounting experience, including internship or part-time experience, is acceptable.

โ€ข Working knowledge of fundamental accounting concepts and standard financial reporting practices.

โ€ข Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for preparing schedules, tracking data, and performing basic analysis.

โ€ข Familiarity with accounting platforms such as QuickBooks, Sage, NetSuite, or similar software is preferred.

โ€ข Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and careful attention to detail.
