Job Summary
The Sign Maker / Installer is a skilled, hands-on professional responsible for the production and installation of high-quality signage and graphics. This role combines technical expertise with craftsmanship, ensuring that all products are produced and installed with precision, efficiency, and attention to detail. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering excellent results. Strong interpersonal skills, a commitment to safety and quality, and a positive, can-do attitude are essential. Key Responsibilities

  • Produce and install a wide variety of signs and graphics, including vinyl applications, large-format prints, and dimensional signage 
  • Perform on-site installations, ensuring accuracy, safety, and professionalism when interacting with customers 
  • Interpret design files and specifications to ensure proper production and installation outcomes 
  • Collaborate with team members and, when needed, communicate directly with customers to clarify project requirements 
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe production and work environment 
  • Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot signage production and installation equipment 
  • Accurately track job progress and maintain both electronic and physical project records 
  • Assist with material preparation, finishing, and quality control checks 
  • Continuously learn and adopt new tools, technologies, and techniques within the sign industry 
Qualifications

  • 3–5+ years of experience in sign production, installation, or a related field preferred 
  • Experience with vinyl creation and application required 
  • Familiarity with large-format digital printing preferred 
  • Design creativity and experience are a plus 
  • Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop is a plus 
  • Experience with RIP (Raster Image Processor) software preferred 
  • Vehicle wrap installation experience is a strong plus 
  • Knowledge of color management principles preferred 
  • Industry certifications (e.g., 3M, Avery Dennison) are highly desirable 
  • Proficient in the use of general shop tools and production equipment 
  • Valid driver’s license required
