Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor with our team, your responsibilities will include:

  • Facilitating engaging group therapy sessions to promote peer connection and shared learning experiences among clients.
  • Conducting individualized therapy sessions to help clients explore their emotions, thoughts, and behaviors while developing practical coping mechanisms and personalized action plans.
  • Collaborating with clients to create tailored treatment plans that reflect their unique needs, preferences, and goals.
  • Monitoring and evaluating client progress through various assessment tools, providing ongoing feedback, and adjusting treatment plans as necessary to achieve desired outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will primarily focus on young adults aged 18 to 30, who seek support through our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP). These individuals often face intricate mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, and other behavioral health issues. Your expertise will play a critical role in helping this demographic regain a sense of purpose and stability in their lives.

Qualifications
  • Masterโ€™s Degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or marriage and family therapy.
  • Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the State of Illinois.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide both group and individual counseling effectively.
  • Experience with evidence-based therapeutic modalities, with a particular focus on those applicable to young adults.
Preferred Experience

While experience in the mental health field is required, preference will be given to candidates who have:

  • A background in working with adolescent or young adult populations.
  • Familiarity with telehealth technology and best practices.
