Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Professional Counselor, you will play a pivotal role in our outpatient treatment center's mental health services. Your daily responsibilities will include:

  • Facilitating Group Therapy: Conduct engaging group sessions where clients share experiences, connect on personal levels, and foster a supportive network.
  • Providing Individual Therapy: Deliver tailored counseling sessions that help clients explore their unique thoughts, feelings, and behaviors to develop effective coping strategies.
  • Collaborating on Treatment Planning: Work closely with clients to create individualized, goal-oriented treatment plans that reflect their specific needs and aspirations.
  • Monitoring Progress: Assess and evaluate clients' progress using various tools, ensuring actionable feedback and necessary adjustments to treatment approaches.
  • Team Collaboration: Work alongside a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals to provide comprehensive care, participating in regular case consultations and care coordination for complex cases.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications
  • A Master's Degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy is required.
  • Current Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) licensure in the state of Texas.
  • Strong commitment to client advocacy and demonstrated clinical skills in treatment and assessment.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working with young adults in outpatient settings is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits

Your skills will be rewarded with a competitive annual salary between USD 85,000 and $100,000.
