Job description

Position Purpose:
To assist the Worship Minister and team with the details of the worship ministry. To collaborate with the worship team to ensure a great worship experience for our body and special events.
Role Basics | Responsibilities and Expectations:
  • Assist in service planning for Sunday
  • Coordinate tasks for the weekly operation of worship ministry-scheduling, sending reminders, action steps and organize support services when necessary
  • Planning Center proficiency
  • Collaborate with Worship Minister to schedule Servant Leaders for upcoming month
  • Scheduling worship needs for special events/staff gatherings
  • Initiate and follow up with all communication for Worship Arts Team
  • Send blockout date reminders to SL's
  • Attend weekly department tactical meetings
  • Coding receipts and budget analysis to ensure we stay within budget
  • Handling incoming requests for worship needs from ministries

Minimum Work and Education:
HS Diploma or GED
2yrs + worship experience in a large church setting
Skills:
  • Superior organizational skills
  • Ability to work with, equip and manage people
  • Good problem solver
  • Self-motivated, driven and able to prioritize.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Focus | Fix attention and organizational skills to important tasks, actions steps, or goals seeing it though to completion.

Time Requirement:
PT position- 29 hours or less. Must be able to work Sundays, evenings and special events.
