Do you have a passion for history and love engaging with people from all walks of life? As a Stockyards Tour Guide Ambassador, you'll have the opportunity to educate visitors about the history of the Stockyards, Fort Worth, and Texas while earning a commission for your work!

Position: Stockyards Tour Guide Ambassador

What We Offer:

  • Commission-Based Pay: Earn based on the tours you lead!
  •  Flexible Hours: Typically work 1-2 days a week, with additional opportunities during school field trip season in spring and fall.
  •  Exciting Environment: Be the public face of the Stockyards, interacting with visitors from all backgrounds, nationalities, and ages.

Key Responsibilities:

  •  Lead engaging, educational tours about the history of the Stockyards, Fort Worth, and Texas.
  • Engage with visitors in a welcoming and informative manner.
  • Adapt your tours to fit different audiences, including school groups and tourists of all ages.

What We’re Looking For:

• Public Speaking Experience: Comfort with speaking in front of groups and large crowds is a must.

• Team-Oriented Attitude: Must work well with others and collaborate in a team environment.

• Adaptability: Ability to adjust your approach to fit a variety of situations and guest needs. • Passion for History: A strong interest in the history of the Stockyards and surrounding areas.

• Calm Under Pressure: Must be able to handle unexpected situations with poise.
