  • Location: St. Joseph's Hospital, 3001 W Martin Luther King Jr Blvd, Tampa, FL 33677
  • Status: Fulltime
  • Shift: 9:00 AM - 9:30 PM
  • On Call: Yes

Summary:
The Operating Room RN responsibilities include:
  • RN independently cares for a sub-specialty group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards
  • RN delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team
  • RN is responsible for professional accountability and development according to best practice standards set forth by a nationally recognized specialty organization
  • RN also preforms the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned
This position requires a minimum of 2 years RN experience. For consideration for this position, at least 1-year Operating Room experience as an RN is required.

Certifications and Licensures:
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • RN (Registered Nurse)
  • ACLS (Cardiovascular) if required by department
  • Preferred Nurse Specialty

  • Associate's Nursing or Nursing Diploma
  • Preferred Bachelor's Nursing

Experience:
  • Required includes 2 years RN experience
  • Preferred Experience includes 1 year Interventional/Perioperative Internship
