OneofthefastestgrowingU.S.techstart-ups, wearelookingforaBusiness Development Associates (and Directors) inmanyofourmarkets todrivebusinessdevelopment,accountretention, andrevenuegrowth in the market through persistence, drive, and impactful communication of Veryable's cutting-edge technology. Hiring managers will determine the level at which successful candidates are being considered (Associate vs Director). Tosucceed,theBusiness Developers (BDAs, and DoBDs) willberesponsibleforinteractingwithdecision-makersandkeyoperationalleaders plantmanagers,warehouseleaders,productionleaders,etc.)inmanufacturing &distributionorganizations, effectivelycommunicatingthevalueofVeryable’sinnovativetechnology withintheirorganization.

TheBDAand DoBDs reporttotheGM, oftheMarketandwillworkcloselywithateamofotherbusinessdevelopmentandoperationsprofessionals todrivebusinessgrowthinthearea. Collaboration,learning,andcareerdevelopmentatVeryabletakesplaceinreal-timeandtherefore remotecandidateswillnotbeconsidered.

What you will do

• Promoteandupholdourcompanyvalues,reputation,andculture
• Conductsitevisitsandconsultationswithmanufacturing,operationsandwarehouseleaderstobuildandcultivatestrategicaccountsandpartnerships
• Conductpresentationstopotentialclients,persuasivelyeducatingthemonthevalueofusingVeryable’splatform
• CreatestrategicroadmapstoonboardnewclientsandestablishbenchmarksfortheirsuccesswithVeryable
• Researchtargetlists,buildbrandawarenessandinitiate/maintainrelationshipswithclientsthroughvariousformsofcommunication(coldcalls,emailcampaigns,socialmedia)
• ManageCRM,HubSpot,andidentifyscalablewaystogenerateinterestandattractclients
• LeverageavarietyoftoolsincludingLinkedIn,ZoomInfo,Hubspot,etc.to managethebusinessdevelopmentprocess
• Maintaincompliancewithoperationalandbusinessdevelopmentmetrics
• Conductmarketresearchtostaycurrentonindustryandmarkettrendsandtailorapproachtoremaincompetitive
• Collaboratewithregionalteamtodelivermaximumvalue,executeteamgoals,andgrowVeryable’sfootprint inthedistricttheBDAislocated

• Neitherworkedatnor'studiedprocesses'ofaFAANGScompany(Facebook/Meta,Amazon,Apple,Netflix,GoogleoranyotherSilicon-valleybasedcompany)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Directexperienceworkinginindustriesweserve(logistics,supplychain,distribution,manufacturing)
• Experienceworkingwithdiversefunctionalteams(operationsandfinance,supplychainandengineering)
• Lean,sixsigma,continuousimprovementtrainingorcertification

Idealcandidateswillhaveatleastoneofthefollowingfoundationalexperiences:

• operationalpositionsuchasfoodserviceorretail;
• studiesfocusedonoperations,supplychain,manufacturing,orindustrialengineering;
• internshiporearlycareerexperienceasan:
• engineer(manufacturing,process,sales,industrial,applicationorproject),
• processimprovementspecialist(CI,Lean,SixSigma);
• SupplyChainandOpsassociate(production/manufacturingsupervisor,operationsleader,warehouseleader,masterscheduler,productionplanning,etc.);
• otheroperationsprojectmanagementroles(programmanager,projectmanager)
