Human Resources Supervisor

Location: Brighton, CO
Employment Type: Exempt
Industry: Food Distribution/Warehouse

About the Role

World Class Distribution is seeking an experienced Human Resources Supervisor to support our Distribution Center operations. In this role, you will partner with leadership to oversee daily HR functions, support employees, ensure compliance with employment laws, and help create a positive and productive work environment. This is a great opportunity for an HR professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support managers with employee relations, performance management, and HR best practices.
  • Assist with recruiting, onboarding, and temporary staffing.
  • Conduct new hire orientation and support employee training programs.
  • Investigate employee concerns and assist with conflict resolution.
  • Ensure company policies and procedures are followed.
  • Support payroll processing, benefits administration, and leave-related matters.
  • Maintain employee records, I-9 compliance, and organizational charts.
  • Coordinate unemployment claims and assist with workers' compensation administration.
  • Partner with staffing agencies to ensure compliance with company expectations.
  • Monitor HR compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
  • Supervise daily HR department activities and provide guidance to HR staff.
  • Prepare reports and maintain accurate HR documentation.
  • Perform additional HR-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of HR Generalist and supervisory experience required.
  • Experience with recruiting, employee relations, payroll, benefits, workers' compensation, and HR compliance.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, or production environment preferred.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and leadership abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively with employees and managers at all levels.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods.
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 10 pounds.
  • Ability to climb stairs as needed.
