Our name, Groundswell, represents our commitment to be an unstoppable, seismic change in government. Ours is a small company culture with big company reach and results. Are you ready to be audacious, be bold and drive change at a rapid pace? Join us, where we’ll make a greater impact together.

What You’ll do:

Groundswell is seeking a highly skilled Workday Data Conversion Lead to lead the Data Conversion workstream for a complex Workday implementation supporting an Intelligence Community customer. This individual will be responsible for the end-to-end data conversion lifecycle and will work closely with Workday Configuration, Integration, Testing, Security, and other implementation workstreams to support successful deployment. The Workday Data Conversion Lead will work with data owners and stakeholders across multiple client organizations to lead data extraction, mapping, harmonization, cleansing, transformation, validation, reconciliation, and conversion into Workday. The role will also lead multiple Workday conversion cycles across secure customer environments. The ideal candidate will combine deep Workday data conversion expertise, strong technical and data management skills, and workstream leadership experience to drive data quality, conversion readiness, and successful execution throughout the Workday implementation lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the Data Conversion workstream for a complex Workday implementation, coordinating closely with Configuration, Integration, Testing, Security, and other implementation workstreams.
  • Develop and manage the data conversion strategy, plan, schedule, milestones, dependencies, and deliverables in alignment with the overall Workday implementation.
  • Coordinate with data owners and stakeholders across multiple client organizations to identify, extract, validate, and prepare source data for conversion.
  • Lead data profiling, mapping, harmonization, cleansing, transformation, validation, and reconciliation activities.
  • Leverage approved data conversion technologies and tools to prepare legacy data for migration into Workday.

  • Partner with Workday Configuration and Integration teams to ensure converted data aligns with configuration decisions, integration requirements, and overall solution design.
  • Coordinate data validation and reconciliation with client data owners and Workday functional teams throughout each conversion cycle.
  • Identify and manage data conversion risks, issues, and cross-workstream dependencies, escalating broader implementation impacts to the Workday Delivery Lead.
  • Ensure sensitive data is handled in accordance with applicable Federal, customer, and program security requirements throughout the conversion lifecycle.
  • Maintain required data conversion documentation, mappings, validation results, reconciliation artifacts, and implementation deliverables.
  • Lead and coordinate Data Conversion team members and provide regular status on workstream progress, milestones, risks, dependencies, and readiness.
Work Location & Travel Requirements:
