Senior Managers serve in an outward-facing, hands-on, and multi-faceted role combining project and engagement management, team leadership and material interaction with clients at both tactical and strategic levels.
While activities vary based on project size/scope and individual skill-sets and strengths, the Senior Manager can expect to spend considerable time on client-facing engagements through all project phases (pursuit to delivery), project management, and intensive data-analysis to implement impactful recommendations. Additionally, Senior Managers time will revolve around overall practice development, the mentorship of Coachees (when assigned), and general project/organizational administrative tasks.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

  • Workday Certification or equivalent practical experience in one or more of the following; Grants Management, Financial Accounting, Business Assets, Procure to Pay, Supplier Accounts

  • Experience leading Workday Financials design and customer confirmation sessions

  • Experience configuring all aspects of Workday Financials and the related Customer Accounts functionality

  • Experience configuring or a deep understanding of Workday Payroll Accounting and Effort Certification

  • Experience with project or workstream planning and management

  • Excellent communication skills - oral and written - and the interpersonal skills needed quickly to establish relationships of trust and collaboration

  • Ability to establish credibility in the eyes of senior-level, financially literate university and hospital executives, including those that lead the sponsored research functions, on the basis of expertise, maturity, and professionalism

  • Ability to train and participate in the professional development of Huron staff in both project or workstream management and technical dimensions

  • Excellent time-management and prioritization skills

  • Ability to manage multiple projects of differing scale and duration

  • Strong analytical skills used to translate information from meetings into documentation that can be shared with meeting participants and project teams

  • Desire and willingness to learn new tools, techniques, concepts, and methodologies

  • Proven thought leadership as indicated by speaking engagements and/or publications a plus

  • A Finance Workstream lead serves as project leadership for a specific client project Workday implementation. They should have between 8-10 years of experience in Workday and the Healthcare industry. This individual provides subject matter expertise across Workday Financial modules and leads cross-functional teams through design, build, testing, and deployment phases. Experience and extensive knowledge in most of the Workday financial functional areas including but not limited to: FDM/Financial Accounting, Business Assets, Projects, Banking and Settlement, etc. This role could be considered part of the Project Management team but specific to the Finance Workday team

The estimated base salary range for this job is $165,000 - $190,000. The range represents a good faith estimate of the range that Huron reasonably expects to pay for this job at the time of the job posting. The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to specific skills or certifications, years of experience, market changes, and required travel. This job is also eligible to participate in Huron's annual incentive compensation program, which reflects Huron's pay for performance philosophy. Inclusive of annual incentive compensation opportunity, the total estimated compensation range for this job is $181,000 - $228,000. The job is also eligible to participate in Huron's benefit plans which include medical, dental and vision coverage and other wellness programs. The salary range information provided is in accordance with applicable state and local laws regarding salary transparency that are currently in effect and may be implemented in the future
