What you will be doing:
The selected Workstation Engineer will be responsible for designing, deploying, configuring, and maintaining high-performance workstation environments and client computing infrastructure. This role supports end-users who require specialized computing resources for technical, engineering, design, and data-intensive applications. The successful candidate will ensure workstations meet performance requirements, maintain system stability, and provide technical support to maximize user productivity. Selected key roles & responsibilities will include:
 
Endpoint Management & Deployment
  • Lead the design, deployment, and maintenance of SCCM/MECM infrastructure, including application packaging, OS deployment, patching, and compliance baselines.
  • Manage and optimize Intune for modern device management, including configuration profiles, compliance policies, app deployment, and Autopilot provisioning.
  • Support hybrid SCCM–Intune environments (Co Management) and drive modernization initiatives.
Automation & Scripting
  • Develop advanced PowerShell scripts to automate administrative tasks, deployment workflows, and configuration processes.
  • Maintain scripting standards and ensure secure automation practices.
Policy & Configuration Management
  • Design, implement, and troubleshoot Group Policy Objects (GPOs) to enforce workstation configuration and security baselines.
  • Collaborate with security teams to align GPO and Intune policies with compliance requirements.
Workstation Engineering & Support
  • Build and maintain standardized workstation images using SCCM, MDT, or Autopilot.
  • Provide engineering support for complex workstation, application, and configuration issues.
  • Monitor endpoint performance, reliability, and compliance using analytics and reporting tools.
Security & Compliance
  • Implement and maintain endpoint security configurations, including BitLocker, Defender for Endpoint, and CIS/NIST-aligned baselines.
  • Ensure patching and compliance metrics meet organizational and regulatory standards.
Collaboration & Documentation
  • Work closely with security, networking, cloud, and service desk teams to support enterprise initiatives.
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation for processes, configurations, and architectural designs.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to knowledge-sharing efforts.
What we require from you:
  • 7+ years of experience in workstation engineering or enterprise endpoint management.
  • Expert-level proficiency with SCCM/MECM (OSD, task sequences, patching, packaging).
  • Strong experience with Intune, Autopilot, and modern device management concepts.
  • Advanced PowerShell scripting skills.
  • Deep understanding of Group Policy, Active Directory, and Windows client OS architecture.
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and documentation abilities.

Base Salary Range: $110,000 - $125,000
