We are a high energy fast paced group of design professionals who help our clients and collaborators build the urban fabric. There is great variety in the program types we work on, but most involve the design of working, living or healing environments. AMA does not support a prescribed architectural style or singular design process, preferring to gain insight from a fluid mix of design teams, contexts and clients. We are searching for versatile, enthusiastic designers who like to learn, are technically adept and good with people.
Job Description
We are looking for an enthusiastic Interior Designer to join our growing Seattle office, and to further grow our Workplace practice!

They must be proactive and will take ownership in each of their projects as well as their daily work. This person must have strong design skills and experience in the Workplace market, and is highly organized. They must also have a strong understanding of codes. They will be working on multiple, fast paced projects; project management experience is highly preferred! Lastly, this person should certainly be a self-starter and take initiative, but will also enjoy the process of the work.

• A strong interest in workplace design
• Ability to provide interior design solutions for any scope of the project including space planning, design, drawings, color and material selections

• Ability to work in a team environment and enjoys working on fast-paced / multiple projects.• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Non traditional office perks include design shares and pinups, bike storage, ORCA pass, unlimited coffee, the occasional treats, volunteer opportunities, monthly events, and so much more. This is a full time position with benefits. This is an exciting time to join a firm experiencing rapid growth. Our office is moving to 5th and Pike in early 2016!
