Job description

Risepoint is an education technology company that provides world-class support and trusted expertise to more than 100 universities and colleges. We primarily work with regional universities, helping them develop and grow their high-ROI, workforce-focused online degree programs in critical areas such as nursing, teaching, business, and public service. Risepoint is dedicated to increasing access to affordable education so that more students, especially working adults, can improve their careers and meet employer and community needs.

The Impact You Will Make

In this role, you will support the Digital Experience team's mission to deliver high-quality, user-centered web experiences that drive engagement and measurable outcomes for our university partners. As a Senior Specialist, you will demonstrate strong ownership of assigned projects by actively managing tasks, timelines, and deliverables through completion. Through your work managing the execution of SEO, content, UX, and web optimization initiatives, you will help the Digital Experience team deliver scalable, high-quality digital experiences that support student engagement, partner success, and Risepoint's broader mission to expand access to education.

What You Will Do

  • Coordinate and execute digital experiences such as organic audits, deep dives, and enhancements; UX template and component creation and optimization; and web testing initiatives. Supports Project Managers and Project Director with planning and execution tasks for larger, more complex digital initiatives as needed.
  • Manage day-to-day project activities across SEO, UX design and content strategy teams, ensuring work progresses smoothly through defined workflows
  • Track tasks, timelines, dependencies, and approvals in Workfront to maintain visibility and accountability
  • Communicate clear and concise project status updates, deadlines, and actionable next steps to cross-functional stakeholders. Identify project risks, blockers, and scope creep early and escalate with recommended options to Project Managers or project leadership as appropriate.
  • Monitor project-level capacity and sequencing risks and flags potential conflicts or prioritization issues to project leadership.
  • Foster strong working relationships with key stakeholders by providing regular updates, supporting risk identification, and maintaining alignment with project goals and objectives.

What Success Looks Like

  • Digital experience projects are delivered on time, adhering to agreed-upon scope, with accurate tracking and minimal rework.
  • Stakeholders have visibility into project status, timelines, and dependencies. Project documentation and workflows are consistently followed and kept up to date.
  • Trusted for reliability from cross-functional stakeholders within and outside of the Digital Experience team. Specialist is known for strong, clear communication, with project risks and blockers identified early and addressed proactively.

How Impact Will be Measured in the First Year

  • Consistent on-time delivery of assigned digital projects
  • Accuracy, clarity, and reliability of project tracking and status reporting in Workfront and team communications
  • Demonstrated understanding of project workflows and processes that informs suggestions for improved processes, workflows, and ways of working

Experience That Matters Most

  • 3-5 years of experience coordinating or managing projects in digital marketing, web, or creative environments
  • Hands-on experience supporting digital marketing projects (such as website, SEO, content strategy, or UX-related projects)
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Experience using project management tools to track work and communicate status (Workfront preferred)
  • Bachelor's Degree

Experience That's Great to Have

  • Experience in higher education, online program management (OPM), or agency environments
  • Familiarity with web development and digital marketing workflows and technology
  • Exposure to QA testing, or optimization workflows
  • Project management certification (CAPM, Agile, or similar)
