Job Summary: The Workforce Services Accommodation and Housing Manager is responsible for overseeing accommodation and housing strategy, planning, and operations to support multiple projects and locations. This role provides leadership and direction across workforce accommodation services, ensuring alignment with project requirements, operational efficiency, and a high standard of service delivery. We are seeking an experienced professional with strong operational and leadership capabilities to manage accommodation programs and support project execution.

This position is designated as part-time telework per our global telework policy and will require at least three days of in-person attendance per week at the assigned office or project. Weekly in-person schedules will be determined by the individual and their supervisor, in consultation with functional or project leadership.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Leads and responds to requests from GBU's and proposal managers/teams for accommodation and housing strategies to support project proposals, planning, and execution
  • Oversees development of accommodation plans, forecasting, and capacity strategies across multiple projects and locations
  • Manages accommodation operations including catering, housekeeping, recreation, and facility services delivered by third-party providers
  • Establishes and maintains standardized tools, templates, and reporting for accommodation planning, tracking, and analysis
  • Leads the development and maintenance of centralized repositories (e.g., SharePoint) for accommodation data, studies, and lessons learned
  • Works with workforce services team to maintain current accommodation forecasting information
  • Develops presentations, reports, and materials to support leadership decision-making and project proposals
  • Builds and maintains strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including senior leadership, project teams, and functional partners
  • Identifies risks related to accommodation capacity and implements mitigation strategies, including sourcing alternative solutions where required
  • Ensures compliance with company policies, contractual obligations, and applicable legal and regulatory requirements
  • Oversees vendor performance, including review and approval of service delivery and invoicing
  • Supports resident engagement, satisfaction initiatives, and issue resolution related to accommodation services
  • Partners with cross-functional teams (e.g., Construction, Security, ESH, Workforce Service Services) to ensure alignment of accommodation with workforce needs
  • Supports broader Workforce Services, GWS, and Labor Relations initiatives as required
  • Manages priorities, resources, and workload to effectively support multiple concurrent projects
  • Leads, mentors, and develops team members to ensure continuity and capability within the function

Education and Experience Requirements:

Requires bachelor's or master's degree (or international equivalent) and 13-15 years of relevant experience or 17-19 years of relevant work experience

Required Knowledge and Skills:

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in Construction HR, Workforce Services, Labor Relations, or accommodation/lodge management
  • Proven experience managing accommodation or workforce housing operations, preferably across multiple sites or large-scale projects
  • Strong leadership and people management experience, with the ability to lead cross-functional and geographically dispersed teams
  • Excellent analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills
  • Advanced computer proficiency with MS Office suite and data/reporting tools
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong working relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
  • Strong presentation and executive communication skills
  • Demonstrated project management capability, including planning, prioritization, and delivery of complex initiatives
  • Experience working in and leading cross-functional teams in dynamic project environments
  • Ability to develop and implement strategies that drive operational improvements and enhance service delivery
  • Strong leadership, collaboration, and influencing skills with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset
  • Willingness and ability to travel to project sites as required
