Workforce Software Configurator
Location: Remote (Dearborn, MI preferred)

About the Role
Join a leading automotive organization as a Workforce Software Configurator and play a vital role in shaping workforce management solutions for thousands of employees. As a key timekeeping analyst, you'll translate complex union agreements and labor laws into robust system logic, ensuring seamless payroll and compliance operations across North America. Work with cutting-edge technology in a flexible, fully remote environment, collaborating with business and technical teams on high-impact projects. Responsibilities
- Translate intricate union contracts, company policies, and labor regulations into actionable system configurations.
- Configure and optimize Time and Attendance, Scheduling, and Absence Management modules within the WorkForce Software (WFS) platform.
- Design, build, and maintain data integrations, ETL pipelines, and system interfaces using REST/SOAP APIs and batch processing.
- Develop custom SQL-based reports and dashboards to support business operations.
- Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver scalable technical solutions.
- Oversee platform governance, including security roles, upgrades, and system stability.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all workforce management integrations.
- Support ongoing enhancements and troubleshoot system issues as needed.
Required Skills and Experience
- Demonstrated experience as a timekeeping analyst in an enterprise environment.
- Expert-level proficiency in WorkForce Software configuration, especially Time and Attendance modules.
- Strong knowledge of UAW Hourly Timekeeping policies (experience with environments like Stellantis or GM highly valued).
- Advanced SQL and data engineering skills, including ETL development.
- Hands-on experience with HR/payroll integrations and SaaS platforms supporting 10,000+ employees.
- Familiarity with U.S. and Canadian labor laws and regulatory requirements.
- Proven ability to translate complex business rules into technical solutions.
- Experience working in Agile teams using tools like Jira.
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with business and technical partners.
Preferred Skills
- Direct WorkForce Software (WFS) configuration experience highly preferred.
- Knowledge of Ford Hourly Employee Timekeeping policies.
- Experience with alternative WFM platforms (UKG/Kronos, Dayforce, SAP SuccessFactors).
- Exposure to cloud data platforms such as GCP or BigQuery.
- Automotive or industrial manufacturing industry experience.
