Job description

Sales Engineer, Enterprise Risk & Compliance
Reports to: Group Director, Sales

BAI and RMA have come together as ProSight Financial Association, a leading industry organization whose purpose is to empower financial services leaders to strengthen and advance our industry. The strategic combination brings together RMA’s expertise in serving the commercial banking and risk management functions and BAI’s knowledge in serving the retail banking and regulatory compliance functions. It’s a complementary union of two non-profit organizations that have always had their members’ and customers’ best interests in mind. Our industry-leading offerings include: peer sharing events, thought leadership, learning and development, and decision support solutions. Our work creates positive ripple effects throughout financial services organizations and ultimately helps consumers, businesses and communities thrive.
ProSight provides a comprehensive range of workforce software solutions, supporting banks, credit unions, Fintechs, and other financial services companies.

As a Sales Engineer at ProSight supporting our Enterprise, Risk and Compliance (ERC) platform, you will serve as a key technical expert bridging client requirements and product capabilities. You will support the sales process by delivering tailored, consultative solution demonstrations that clearly communicate the platform’s features and benefits to prospective clients. The role involves gathering and translating prospect challenges into actionable insights for sales and product teams, assisting with project scoping and Statements of Work, and contributing to winning new business. Based on client needs, occasional travel for meetings and events will be required.

Following the sales cycle, you will take ownership of new customer implementations, working closely with clients to configure the platform to meet their requirements and ensure smooth onboarding and delivery. As part of a cross-functional team, you will collaborate closely with sales and product colleagues and contribute to business growth by meeting objectives across presales, configuration, and onboarding. ProSight’s strong brand and leading market position in a rapidly evolving compliance landscape provide significant opportunities for sales growth.

Responsibilities
  • Partner with Account Managers to drive revenue by demonstrating how the ERC SaaS platform solves complex business challenges.
  • Lead and support discovery sessions with prospects to understand workflows, requirements, and success criteria.
  • Prepare and deliver tailored product demonstrations using client-specific data, configurations, and realistic use cases.
  • Articulate technical and functional value propositions aligned to client business outcomes.
  • Design and deliver proofs of concept (PoCs) and pilot projects to validate solution fit.
  • Support RFPs, RFIs, and security questionnaires with accurate, high-quality technical input.
  • Configure demo and client environments, including minor UI and workflow adjustments, to reflect real-world client needs.
  • Provide structured feedback from prospects and clients to Product Management to inform roadmap and improvements.
  • Address technical objections and articulate competitive differentiation within the GRC market landscape.
  • Actively engage with engineering teams to gain a working knowledge of technology capabilities and limitations and obtain detailed answers to more complex questions.
  • Support post-sale handover and early implementation to ensure smooth onboarding and solution alignment.
  • Assist with scoping, Statements of Work, and clear definition of requirements for implementation teams.
  • Continuously develop domain expertise in GRC frameworks, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
  • Perform other duties as may be required or assigned.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a presales, solution consulting, or client-facing role within a SaaS or enterprise software environment.
  • Strong understanding of Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) concepts, or demonstrated ability to rapidly develop domain expertise.
  • Experience partnering with sales teams in B2B environments to support solution selling and drive new business.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Comfort engaging with senior client stakeholders and leading discovery and requirements-gathering discussions.
  • Experience preparing Statements of Work, scoping documents, or similar presales deliverables.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across sales, product, and implementation teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to operate independently in a self-directed role.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for client meetings, workshops, and industry events.
  • Technologically savvy, with extensive use of the Microsoft Office suite and ability to learn and demonstrate proprietary systems
  • Demonstrated high-energy, tenacity and dedication to excellence as a sales engineer professional

The compensation range for this position is $100,000 - $120,000 which includes base salary and participation in a commission plan based on individual sales results.
