Contract

Job Description:

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the CATV application process within Eastern Division, processing the necessary invoices, organizing the associated make-ready work orders, and answering any Joint Use questions as they arise.
  • The candidate with also closely track installations from companies that don't follow the traditional application process and will serve as the point of contact for periodic CATV attachment audits. The candidate will serve as the single point of contact for Small Cell wireless installations throughout Eastern Division.
  • The candidate will support Eastern Division leadership by sharing necessary information around client Fiber make-ready work and installations and will also serve as single point of contact in the event damage occurs to the client Fiber within Eastern Division.
  • The candidate could also be asked to support special projects as they arise and will also work closely with the Support Manager and other stakeholders during storms to provide logistics support.

EXPERIENCE AND/OR EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Previous distribution experience and/or related Power Delivery experience is preferred
  • Experience in working in or around engineering, design, and construction of electrical systems is preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree is preferred.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Experience with or ability to quickly learn distribution and other programs (JETS, DistGIS, MAXIMO, etc.)
  • Knowledge of distribution design, standards, and practice preferred
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and set priorities
  • Proven experience in creative problem solving
  • Excellent computer skills, proficient with computer applications including Microsoft Office products, and ability to learn new engineering applications
  • Effective time management & organizational skills
  • Knowledge of and ability to apply client safety and health rules
  • Knowledge of company policies/procedures, NESC, and NEC requirements
