Job Description

The Vice President of Human Resources provides executive-level leadership and strategic direction for Rally House's people strategy and HR operations. This role partners closely with executive leadership to ensure the organization attracts, develops, andretainsthe talentrequiredto support a rapidly growing multi-unit retailorganization.

The Vice Presidentis responsible forestablishingand executing legally compliant HR policies, procedures, and best practices while building scalable people systems that support both corporate teams and a growing store network. This leader plays a critical role in aligning talent strategy with businessobjectives, strengthening leadership capability, and protecting the culture that makes Rally House unique.

Responsibilities

Enterprise People Strategy

  • Partner with executive leadership to align the organization'speoplestrategy with long-term business goals and growth plans
  • Establish key performance indicators for HR and talent management functions and assess organizational performance against those metrics
  • Develop scalable talent strategies that support store expansion, leadership development, and internal mobility
  • Build leadership pipelines through succession planning and strategic talent acquisition initiatives

Organizational Effectiveness & Workforce Planning

  • Lead organizational design and workforce planning initiatives that support business growth and operational scalability
  • Partner withexecutiveleaders to strengthen leadership capability and team effectiveness acrossbothcorporate and field organizations
  • Lead change management initiatives during periods of growth, expansion, and organizational transformation
  • Ensure leadership standards and expectationsremainconsistent acrossdepartments andmarkets while supporting operational needs

Employee Relations & Culture Stewardship

  • Promote and strengthen Rally House's culture while supporting both corporate teams and the store network
  • Provide guidance on complex employee relations matters and ensure consistent application of company policies
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws, benefits regulations, safety standards, and HR best practices
  • Provide leadership and support to the HR team in addressing employee relations, performance management, and policy interpretation

HR Operations & Total Rewards

  • Oversee HR operational functions including payroll, compensation, benefits, HR systems, and compliance programs
  • Design and implement competitive compensation, benefits, performance management, and incentive programs
  • Manage the HR department budget and support workforce planning initiatives
  • Drive continuous improvement of HR systems, processes, and service delivery to support a growing organization

Skills and Knowledge

Qualifications

  • 12-15+ years of progressive Human Resources leadership experience, including senior leadership responsibility within a multi-unit or consumer-facing organization
  • Demonstrated experience partnering closely with retail operations and field leadership in a multi-location environment
  • Proventrack recorddeveloping scalable HR strategies, leadership pipelines, and talent development programs in a growing organization
  • Professional HR certification such as SHRM-SCP, SPHR, or equivalent preferred

  • Ability to operate a computer, keyboard, mouse, and other standard office equipment
  • Able to clearly view and read information on a computer screen
  • Occasionally lift or move items up to 15 pounds
