Job description


The Senior Manager of Workforce Optimization is responsible for leading enterprise workforce strategy, planning, and execution initiatives that enable an agile, data-driven, and operationally efficient workforce. This role provides strategic direction across workforce modeling, forecasting, and labor performance management, ensuring alignment with company financial and operational goals.
The Senior Manager will lead and develop a high-performing team, drive cross-functional partnership across Operations, Finance, and Human Resources departments, and translate complex workforce data into actionable insights for executive leadership. This role is critical in shaping workforce strategy, optimizing labor investment, and advancing workforce optimization capabilities through scalable processes, tools, and innovation.
Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a high-performing Workforce Optimization team, including performance management, coaching, and succession planning.
  • Define and execute enterprise workforce strategies, including labor planning, forecasting, and capacity optimization across multiple locations.
  • Oversee and evolve workforce modeling methodologies, ensuring accuracy, scalability, and alignment to business needs.
  • Drive data-driven decision making by synthesizing trends, performance metrics, and financial data into actionable insights for executive leadership.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Operations, Finance, Revenue Management, and Continuous Improvement to align workforce strategies with enterprise priorities.
  • Establish and monitor labor performance frameworks, including productivity, cost management, and workforce KPIs.
  • Lead workforce planning support across multiple FBO locations, including hiring strategies, scheduling optimization, and labor cost management.
  • Identify and remove operational barriers while driving innovation, automation, and continuous improvement within workforce processes.
  • Deliver executive-level presentations and strategic recommendations, clearly communicating workforce insights and business implications.
  • Influence senior stakeholders and lead complex organizational change initiatives related to workforce optimization and labor strategy.

Qualifications
Minimum Education and/or Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Operations, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • 6+ years of experience in workforce planning, labor strategy, capacity planning, or related analytical fields, with increasing leadership responsibility.
  • Proven experience influencing senior leadership and driving enterprise-level decision making through data-driven insights.

Additional Knowledge and Skills
  • Strong leadership capabilities with demonstrated ability to build, develop, and lead high-performing teams.
  • Advanced analytical and financial modeling skills, including forecasting, labor cost optimization, and scenario planning.
  • Expertise in workforce planning methodologies, performance management frameworks, and operational analytics.
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to translate complex data into executive-level insights.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, with experience working across matrixed organizations and influencing diverse stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, navigate ambiguity, and lead through change in a fast-paced environment.
  • ~25% travel.
