Production Manager - 1st Shift (M-F) in Central/Northern WisconsinNational privately held food production facility seeks an experienced Production Manager who brings current food manufacturing experience to the table. This role ensures the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency while fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and employee development. The Shift Manager leads the supervisors and large hourly workforce team, works closely with other internal department managers, and with plant schedulers to plan, schedule, and coordinate production activities safely and efficiently with organizational standards.Essential Functions-Assume full responsibility for the shift performance, including meeting production targets and operational KPIs-Prioritize people safety, food safety, and quality above all else.-Communicate daily plans, priorities, and upcoming changes.-Serve as a resource, providing guidance and support to shift employees.-Works with the Plant Manager to develop strategies that drive key performance metrics.-Enforce company policies, procedures, SOPs, and regulatory compliance consistently across the shift.-Mentor and develop production supervisors and frontline employees, fostering growth and engagement-Address performance or behavioral issues in alignment with the company’s core values.-Sets and communicates clear performance expectations, holding employees accountable.-Apply critical thinking to identify bottlenecks, implement process improvements, and optimize workflow.-Ensures staffing resources are effectively allocated to meet production demands-Promote an inclusive and values-driven workplace cultureRequired Experience-Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Business Management, Supply Chain Management, or other related fields-7+ years’ experience in leading multiple supervisor and 100+ hourly associates in food manufacturing-Current or recent experience in an FDA-regulated production facilitySkills and Abilities-Regular use of logic and critical thinking to analyze situations-Effective interpersonal and oral communication skills-Ability to lead a diverse team of support and professional staff-Experience with leading a large team and setting priorities for self and others-Strong attention to detail with effective critical thinking skills-Proficient in Outlook, Excel, Teams, and other MS Office functions-Experience with SAPCompensation-Up to $120,000 base salary per year plus bonus potential-Relocation assistance offeredContactJenny Sochocki at 317-678-0120 or jenny@mriz.net or https://www.linkedin.com/in/jenny-sochocki-250a81224/
