Job description

Position Overview

The Workforce Manager is responsible for managing a manpower pool of 50–100 team members, ensuring current and future workforce needs are met while developing improvements to existing processes. Strong verbal and written communication skills, confidentiality, and proficiency in PC use and Microsoft Office Suite are essential.

Minimum Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED; alternatively Associate Degree.
  • Experience: 2 to 4 years of progressive administrative/field experience in Operations or Construction, or 6 months to 1 year for Associate Degree holders.
  • Travel: 20%.
  • Work Schedule: Typical hours 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Monday–Friday; work may be required at other times to meet business needs.
Key Responsibilities
  • Selects new hires and partners with the talent team for smooth onboarding.
  • Coaches and develops talent, helping keep certifications current, expanding licensing, and increasing training awareness.
  • Partners with Talent & Operations teams to optimize recruiting, selection, and team member relations.
  • Visits projects to encourage safe and productive behavior.
  • Provides feedback and coaching to enhance retention and performance.
  • Partners with Workforce Planning & Scheduling team to meet organizational and team member needs.
  • Builds positive community relationships to create a talent pipeline.
  • Oversees the performance evaluation processes for field team members.
  • Performs other related duties as required.
