What You'll Do

  • Serve as the lead configuration resource for ADP eTime, ADP Workforce Manager (WFM), Kronos, UKG, or similar enterprise Time & Attendance platforms.
  • Configure and maintain complex workforce management rules, including pay rules, work rules, schedules, labor allocations, overtime calculations, premium pay programs, and accrual policies.
  • Design, test, implement, and troubleshoot system configurations to support business, payroll, union, and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage ongoing configuration changes resulting from organizational growth, acquisitions, compliance updates, and operational changes.
  • Support and maintain multi-state payroll compliance, union work rules, California labor law requirements, and FLSA regulations within workforce management systems.
  • Configure and audit PTO, sick leave, vacation, and other accrual programs to ensure policy compliance and accurate balances.
  • Lead configuration testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and validation activities for system upgrades, enhancements, and integrations.
  • Monitor and support integrations between workforce management, payroll, HRIS, and third-party systems.
  • Execute large-scale data maintenance activities including labor transfers, employee data loads, pay code updates, scheduling updates, and balance adjustments.
  • Analyze timekeeping and workforce data to identify configuration issues, payroll risks, system inefficiencies, and process improvement opportunities.
  • Support mergers and acquisitions by performing system discovery, configuration assessments, data mapping, testing, and post-implementation stabilization.
  • Partner closely with Payroll, HRIS, HR, IT, Operations, and external vendors to resolve configuration, integration, and compliance issues.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, configuration standards, SOPs, audit documentation, and system process maps.
  • Leverage AI, automation, reporting tools, and analytics to improve workforce management processes, auditing, and operational efficiency.

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years of hands-on configuration experience supporting enterprise Time & Attendance systems such as ADP eTime, ADP Workforce Manager, UKG, or Kronos.
  • Deep experience configuring Pay Rules, Work Rules, Accrual Profiles, Schedules, Labor Levels, Pay Codes, Overtime Rules, Union Rules, and Premium Pay Programs.
  • Experience supporting workforce management systems for large employee populations (10,000+ employees preferred).
  • Strong background in testing, system implementations, upgrades, audits, and integrations.
  • Working knowledge of APIs, SFTP/MFT integrations, and workforce-to-payroll data flows.
  • Advanced Excel skills including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUPs, Power Query, and data analysis.
  • Experience supporting SOX controls, audit requirements, and payroll compliance initiatives.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Transportation, logistics, trucking, or multi-site operational workforce experience highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with ADP Workforce products, SharePoint, Copilot, Smartsheet, and workforce analytics tools is a plus.

Why Join TFI International?

  • Growing, financially strong transportation and logistics organization.
  • Competitive compensation and benefits.
  • 401(k) and comprehensive insurance offerings.
  • Professional development and training opportunities.
  • Exposure to enterprise-wide projects, acquisitions, and system implementations.
  • Opportunity to play a key role in shaping workforce management processes across a rapidly growing organization.
