Job description

Responsibilities:

  • Perform general labor tasks including housekeeping and running equipment.
  • Operate a forklift and other powered industrial trucks safely and efficiently.
  • Lifting, moving, and staging materials, repeatedly lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Follow directions and perform repetitive production activities to meet targets.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area in dusty or dirty environments.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements:

  • Fast-paced industrial setting with frequent bending, stooping, and twisting.
  • Ability to stand and work on feet for prolonged periods.
  • Steel-toed shoes required.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Ability to operate powered industrial trucks; must pass PIT training and test.
  • Ability to repeatedly lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Basic math and counting; ability to use basic computer systems as needed.
  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Effective communication in one-on-one and group situations.
  • Knowledge and compliance with safety guidelines.
