Duties and Responsibilities: 

Work Habits: 25%
Answer inbound calls related to short-term programs in a professional manner and transfer to the appropriate department.
Collect contact information from prospective students via inbound calls, emails and texts, and walk ins.
Speak with walk-in students about program interest and direct them to the appropriate advisor or SoLAcc department.
Make outbound calls to SNAP direct referrals to gauge interest in SoLAcc programs and direct to an advisor.
Make outbound calls to Louisiana Works direct referrals to gauge interest in SoLAcc programs and direct to an advisor.
Make outbound calls to leads in Salesforce with no activity in the past two years to gauge interest in SoLAcc programs and direct to an advisor.
Behavioral Standards: 25%
Enter information about prospective students into Salesforce and record follow-up notes with accuracy, consistency, and attention to detail.
Provide excellent customer service to all prospective students who email, call or walk in for advising.
Ability to clearly communicate via phone.

Minimum Qualifications: 

One year of related experience (administrative, sales, higher education, or customer service)
One year of related experience (sales, recruitment, higher education, customer service) or an associate degree or higher from an accredited college or university.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Excellent interpersonal, time management, customer service, organizational, and communication skills, both oral and written.
Ability to type 40 WPM at minimum
Ability to clearly communicate via phone.

Preferred Qualifications: 

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in related field
Three years of related experience
