Description:

Job Title: Bilingual – Greeter / Floater
Hours: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (Standard Business Hours)
Department: Customer Service


Position Summary:

This role provides front-line customer service by welcoming visitors, assisting with PA CareerLink® registration, directing customers to services, and supporting staff with clerical duties and digital intake. It ensures smooth customer flow and engagement throughout the Center.


General Responsibilities:


· Greet all customers who enter the Center in a positive and inviting manner that encourages the customer to want to stay and engage in Center services.

· Ask required questions to determine if the customer is new to the Center or a returning customer.

· If a new customer, direct them to the Career Resource Center to register with PA CareerLink®.

· If a returning customer, determine customer intent and assist customer to proceed with engagement (notify Workforce Advisor or Job Developer if customer has scheduled a meeting, inform customer of location of scheduled workshops, assist customer to schedule meetings with staff, and other engagement tasks).

· Provide directions to customers from one activity to the next as needed.

· Cover reception desk, answer phones, direct calls to applicable staff, and assist customers as needed.

· Provide clerical support services to staff and customers as needed.

· Assist customers in completing Digital Intake at the kiosk.

· Provide computer-based assistance in the Career Resource Center.

· Attend meetings as required by the division.

· Other tasks as needed.

Requirements:

Qualifications:

· High School Diploma or GED

· Minimum of two years of related work experience

· Exceptional communication and strong interpersonal skills.

· Genial personality and dedication to providing outstanding service.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

· Basic Data Entry and familiarity with databases.

· Bilingual in English and Spanish is required.
