Job Summary

The Certified Nurse Aide Instructor is responsible for the instruction of students in the 90-hour NJ State Certified Nurse Aide curriculum at CCM and at related partner clinical training sites. All instruction is in accordance with NJ Department of Health NATCEP requirements.

Qualifications - Education

Minimum requirement is a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution. NJ Registered Nurse License in good standing. Evidence of approval by the NJ Department of Health as an approved Nurse Aide Instructor.

Qualifications - Experience

  • Prior work experience as a Nurse Aide Instructor or Evaluator is highly desirable.
  • Prior work experience in a long-term care setting is highly desirable.

Qualifications - Skills

Demonstrated knowledge of discipline including current developments and technologies in related field of specialization. Strong presentation, verbal and written communication skills. Ability to use technology in education as appropriate to the subject matter. Please be specific in stating your areas of expertise and experience. 3+ years professional work experience in the subject area. At least 1 year of classroom teaching experience with non-traditional adult students preferred.
