Help Enhance Inpatient Care Through Healthcare Technology
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented
Clinical Application Analyst III - ClinDoc to join our Digital Technology Services (DTS) team. In this role, you will support and optimize Epic ClinDoc workflows that help caregivers deliver exceptional patient care across inpatient settings.
You'll partner closely with nursing, respiratory therapy, rehabilitation services, and other clinical teams to ensure the technology supporting documentation, patient care activities, and device integration functions efficiently and effectively. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex problems, improving workflows, and collaborating with both technical and clinical stakeholders.
As Deaconess continues to grow, you'll also play an important role in expanding and supporting integration technologies that connect systems, improve information sharing, and enhance the care experience across our health system.
What You'll Do
- Configure, build, test, implement, and support Epic ClinDoc and related clinical applications
- Support device integration workflows and technologies across inpatient care areas
- Collaborate with clinical teams to understand workflow needs and develop effective technology solutions
- Troubleshoot application issues and provide timely resolution for end users
- Coordinate and support system upgrades, enhancements, updates, and go-live activities
- Analyze existing workflows and identify opportunities for optimization and efficiency improvements
- Support integrations between clinical applications and connected healthcare technologies
- Develop and maintain system documentation, build standards, and support materials
- Participate in medium to complex projects involving clinical applications and workflow enhancements
- Ensure application configurations align with organizational standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices
- Serve as a resource for clinicians and stakeholders regarding application functionality and workflow design
- Support initiatives that improve patient care, clinical documentation, and operational effectiveness
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
- Five or more years of experience supporting healthcare IT systems or clinical applications
- Experience with application configuration, implementation, maintenance, and support
- Understanding of inpatient clinical workflows and healthcare operations
- Experience supporting system upgrades, troubleshooting activities, and workflow optimization efforts
- Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and virtual collaboration tools
