Job description


CIS Secure is seeking a Journeyman Workflow Support Specialist for its Intrepid Solutions operating company to support a mission-critical Department of the Air Force program. This position supports enterprise analytical workflows, data-driven operations, and process automation within a secure Government environment.

The Journeyman Workflow Support Specialist will work with Government stakeholders, analysts, and technical teams to improve workflow efficiency, enable enterprise data capabilities, and support the configuration and utilization of Government-directed data platforms. The successful candidate will assist with implementing scalable workflow solutions that improve data accessibility, reporting, operational visibility, and decision support.

This role is ideal for professionals who enjoy improving business processes, supporting enterprise technologies, and enabling mission success through efficient workflow management.


Note: This position is contingent upon contract award.


  • Support analytical workflow enablement across enterprise organizations and mission partners.
  • Assist with the configuration, implementation, and sustainment of Government-directed enterprise data platform capabilities.
  • Support data analysis, reporting, monitoring, and workflow automation initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Government personnel to identify workflow improvements and process efficiencies.
  • Assist in documenting business processes, operational procedures, and workflow requirements.
  • Support the development and maintenance of workflow documentation, user guides, and standard operating procedures.
  • Coordinate with analysts, technical teams, and mission stakeholders to ensure workflow solutions support operational objectives.
  • Monitor workflow performance and identify opportunities to improve reliability, scalability, and efficiency.
  • Assist with validating workflow functionality and resolving process issues.
  • Support enterprise reporting and dashboard initiatives by ensuring workflow data is complete and accurate.
  • Maintain documentation supporting workflow configuration, implementation, and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Protect classified and sensitive information in accordance with Government security requirements.
  • Perform assigned duties independently while supporting customer priorities and mission objectives.
OPERATING HOURS AND EXPECTATIONS:

This is a full-time onsite position supporting operations at a Government facility within the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. The selected candidate must be capable of working independently while supporting customer-directed priorities in a classified environment.

TRAVEL:

Limited travel may be required to support customer meetings, mission planning activities, training, or other program requirements.


CLEARANCE:
  • Active Top Secret (TS) security clearance required at the time of application.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) eligibility and any customer-required accesses.
  • This position requires work within a Government-owned or controlled Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF).
EDUCATION:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in any field.
CERTIFICATION(S):
  • No certifications are required for this position.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Three (3) or more years of professional experience.
  • Ability to perform assigned duties independently with minimal supervision.
  • Experience supporting business processes, workflows, or operational procedures.
  • Experience documenting workflow requirements, process improvements, or operational guidance.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Experience coordinating with multiple stakeholders to support operational objectives.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to identify process improvement opportunities and implement effective workflow solutions.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic operational environment.
  • Experience handling sensitive or classified information in accordance with established security procedures.
DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Experience supporting Department of Defense or Department of the Air Force organizations.
  • Experience with enterprise workflow platforms or business process automation tools.
  • Experience supporting data reporting, dashboards, or operational metrics.
  • Familiarity with Power Automate, SharePoint, Microsoft Power Platform, ServiceNow, Jira, or similar workflow technologies.
  • Experience supporting enterprise data platforms or digital transformation initiatives.

  • Experience supporting cross-functional operational teams.
