Job DescriptionAt Sage, we’re building the next generation of Revenue Operations excellence- and we’re looking for a Workflow Automation Manager who will be responsible for designing, governing, and implementing scalable workflow automation solutions that optimize business processes across the Revenue organization. This role partners with business stakeholders to identify operational inefficiencies, translate business requirements into automation solutions, and establish enterprise automation standards that improve efficiency, data quality, compliance, and user experience.Unlike roles focused on optimizing sales execution or managing sales processes, the Workflow Automation Manager is responsible for the architecture and automation of end-to-end business workflows that span multiple functions, including Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Finance.The ideal candidate combines business process expertise, systems thinking, and workflow automation experience to build scalable solutions that reduce manual effort, standardize operations, and enable business growth.This is a Hybrid position based on-site three days per week in NA based office.Key ResponsibilitiesWorkflow Architecture & DesignDesign scalable workflow automation architectures that support enterprise business processes across the revenue lifecycle.Translate business requirements into automation designs that align with organizational standards and long-term scalability.Establish automation design patterns, governance, and best practices to ensure consistency across solutions.Evaluate existing processes and identify opportunities to eliminate or reduce manual work through automation and orchestration.Develop future-state workflow designs that improve operational efficiency and user experience.Business Process ImprovementPartner with Revenue Operations business stakeholders to understand operational challenges and identify automation opportunities.Facilitate process discovery sessions and document current-state and future-state workflows.Apply continuous improvement methodologies to simplify, standardize, and optimize business processes.Recommend improvements that balance business value, technical feasibility, and organizational readiness.Solution DeliveryLead the design and implementation of workflow automations using enterprise automation and business systems platforms.Collaborate with Go-to-Market-Effectiveness, IT, and platform/application managers to implement scalable automation solutions.Define functional requirements, automation logic, decision trees, exception handling, and testing strategies.Support user acceptance testing and production deployment activities, and defining success metrics.Governance & StandardsEstablish governance for Revenue Operations workflow automation, including design standards, documentation, change management, and operational support.Maintain Revenue Operations enterprise workflow documentation, automation inventory, and architectural standards.Evaluate automation requests to ensure alignment with enterprise architecture and business priorities.Monitor automation performance and recommend enhancements to improve reliability, scalability, and business outcomes.Partner with Sales Operations, Marketing Operations, Customer Success Operations, Finance, IT, and Go-to-Market-Effectiveness teams to deliver integrated solutions.Collaborate with Sales Process Management to automate approved business processes while maintaining clear ownership boundaries.Serve as a trusted advisor on workflow automation strategy and business process design.What You’ll Bring:5–8+ years of experience in Revenue Operations, Business Operations, Business Analysis, Process Improvement, or Workflow Automation.Experience designing and implementing enterprise workflow automation solutions.Demonstrated success leading cross-functional business process improvement initiatives.Experience translating business requirements into scalable technical solutions.Strong understanding of CRM and enterprise business systems ecosystems.Preferred ExperienceExperience with workflow automation platforms (e.g., Salesforce Flow, Workato, Zapier Enterprise, Microsoft Power Automate, ServiceNow, or similar).Experience with process mapping methodologies such as BPMN, Lean, or Six Sigma.Experience working in high-growth SaaS or enterprise technology organizations.Familiarity with APIs, integrations, and event-driven automation concepts.________________________________________Knowledge & SkillsBusiness process architectureWorkflow automation designBusiness requirements analysisSystems thinkingEnterprise process governanceContinuous improvement methodologiesAutomation lifecycle managementData quality and operational controlsChange management principlesExcellent written and verbal communicationStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to influence without direct authorityWhy you'll love this role:You’ll join a collaborative, forward-thinking team that’s modernizing how we run Revenue Operations.
