Location:Arlington, VA / National Capital Region

Travel:Minimal. Occasional local travel within the National Capital Region maybe requiredto support meetings, workshops, and process improvement initiatives.

Background:Vectrona is seeking a Business Systems Analyst to support National Guard Bureau staff organizations by evaluating, improving, andoptimizingbusiness processes, workflow systems, records management practices, and information-sharing capabilities. This position works closely with Government stakeholders toidentifyprocess inefficiencies, improve organizational effectiveness, enhance knowledge management, and implement solutions that strengthen mission execution and leadership decision-making.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Analyze organizational workflows, business processes, and operational procedures toidentifyimprovement opportunities.
  • Evaluate task management systems, records repositories, SharePoint environments, and information management processes.
  • Develop recommendations that improve efficiency, accountability, visibility, and organizational performance.
  • Support SharePoint administration, content organization, document management, and knowledge management initiatives.
  • Assistwith development and maintenance of standard operating procedures, process documentation, workflow diagrams, and user guides.
  • Conduct research, data collection, and process assessments to support organizational decision-making.
  • Facilitate meetings, workshops, and stakeholder discussions focused on process improvement and operational effectiveness.
  • Develop reports, dashboards, metrics, and presentations that communicate findings and recommendations.
  • Support records management, archiving, and information governance activities.
  • Coordinate with Government personnel to implement approved process improvements and system enhancements.
  • Monitor effectiveness of implemented solutions and recommend adjustments as organizational requirements evolve.

PreferredEducation/Degree:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Systems, Organizational Management, Public Administration, Data Analytics, Information Management, or related field.

Preferred Knowledge,Skillsand Qualifications:

  • 8+ years supporting business process analysis, workflow management, organizational improvement, information management, or enterprise business operations.
  • Experience supporting DoD, National Guard, Joint Staff, Federal Government, or comparable large organizations.
  • Strong understanding of process improvement methodologies, workflow analysis, records management, and organizational performance measurement.
  • Experience with SharePoint administration, Microsoft 365 applications, collaboration platforms, and document management systems.
  • Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data toidentifytrends, issues, and improvement opportunities.
  • Experience developing SOPs, workflow documentation, process maps, and executive-level reports.
  • Strong facilitation, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple initiatives and coordinate across diverse organizations.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, PMP, Agile, Business Analysis, or similar professional certification preferred.
