Job description

Rapidly growing Florida Workers Compensation and personal Injury law firm is seeking a highly capable and motivated paralegal, who has a minimum of 3 years’ experience in workers compensation. Applicants must be able to multi-task, possess a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, and must be able to exist in a fast-paced work environment. This position is onsite Monday - Friday from 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing various legal, administrative and clerical tasks to support the firm’s services. This is an excellent opportunity for career growth and potential future advancement based on individual accomplishments and contributions to the firm’s overall strategic plan and success.

Duties Include:

  • Drafting discovery requests and responses and managing discovery deadlines.
  • Preparing medical record composites and summaries
  • Preparing and organizing exhibits for trials and depositions and completing pre-trials.
  • Review and draft routine legal documents and e-file documents.
  • Preparing settlement documents

Job Requirements:

  • Must have 3 years of paralegal experience in the field of Workers' Compensation Law
  • Bilingual Spanish Preferred
  • Must have outstanding organizational skills
  • Must be a self-starter, proactive and resourceful
  • Must have excellent multitasking skills and attention to detail
  • Must have excellent verbal and written skills
  • Must have the ability to work independently and meet deadlines
