Job Description

A Day in the Life 

  • This position serves as the primary workers compensation case management resource for Munson Healthcare employees. Responsible for coordinating work-related injury cases from report through return to work, collaborating with Occupational Health providers, managers, employees, and third party administrators. Oversees case management activities, return-to-work coordination, and claim administration support. 

Qualifications

What's Required  

  • Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. Clinical degree in an Allied Health field or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Risk Management, or a related field is preferred. 

  • 3 years Experience in workers' compensation, human resources, occupational/employee health, claims administration, vocational rehabilitation, insurance, or related field.

  • Workers' Compensation Professional (WCP), Certified Case Manager (CCM), Certified Disability Management Specialist (CDMS), or similar professional certification preferred.
