The expected pay range for this position is $150,000.00 - $190,000.00 USD annually, based on the candidate's qualifications and experience.
Makse Group is looking for an experienced Consulting Manager with experience of leading a team and expertise in Workday Financials. The ideal candidate should have 5+ years of experience implementing Core Financials, Procurement and Expense Management solutions in Workday. This role requires the ability to manage and prioritize multiple clients with competing needs and varying processes and to provide creative solutions through targeted resources and technical expertise.
Responsibilities:
  • Manage and develop a team of consultants.
  • Lead engagements as part of the Workday Financials Practice and recommend the best practices related to Workday functionality.
  • Manage support requests related to Workday Financials which require a great deal of workstream management and cross-functional team collaboration.
  • Subject matter expert developing system configuration solutions, composite reports and calculated fields; demonstrate the configurations through the development of prototype systems and assist the client in testing the Workday solution.
  • Modify and redevelop/engineer business processes based on unique client requirements and best practices across the Workday platform.
  • Support client-side implementations including assembling data gathering workbooks as well as system testing and UAT.
  • Work with clients to help convert legacy data into Workday.
  • Assist the integrations team in helping to configure and test integrations between Workday and other third party/custom solutions.
  • Establish effective working relationships with clients and outside vendors.
  • Identify client enhancement opportunities for existing and new features introduced across new Workday releases.
  • Perform peer reviews, manage, train and mentor junior staff.

Requirements:
  • 5+ years of functional experience with Workday Financial Management demonstrated success of hands-on experience with delivering Workday solutions in this area.
  • 5+ years of experience as an Implementation Manager with Workday, or a Workday Partner or Workday Client.
  • 2+ years of experience doing project management.
  • Deep functional knowledge around financial systems and processes with advanced report writing skills; and experience building dashboards, custom validations, condition rules and calculated fields.
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills.
  • Adaptive insights solutions experience is a plus.
  • Current or previous Workday Certification highly desired including Workday PRO.
  • Ability to support effectively multiple customers concurrently on short duration projects.
  • Degree or an advanced degree in Finance/Accounting preferred or equivalent experience.
