Is IT hard to get hired at Workday?

Workday support roles typically require technical knowledge of the Workday platform, strong problem-solving skills, and relevant certifications or experience. Having familiarity with Workday tools and good communication skills can improve chances of being hired.

What does a typical day look like for someone in a Workday Support role?

A typical day for Workday Support involves responding to user inquiries and tickets, troubleshooting system issues, assisting with data updates, and collaborating with HR and IT teams on process improvements. You may be responsible for user access management, system configurations, documentation, and providing training or guidance to end users. The work is often dynamic, balancing quick fixes with longer-term solutions, and requires continual learning as Workday updates and organization needs evolve. Many teams work in a collaborative environment, frequently interfacing with stakeholders across the company to ensure seamless HR operations.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive in the Workday Support position, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Workday Support professional, you need knowledge of HR processes, technical troubleshooting skills, and an understanding of the Workday platform, often supported by a relevant degree or prior HRIS experience.
