Job Profile: Workday Technical Consultant Time Tracking (10+ years resumes only with W2)
The Workday Technical Consultant (Time Tracking) is responsible for configuring, integrating, and supporting Workday Time Tracking solutions that ensure accurate, efficient, and compliant time and attendance operations. This role partners closely with HR, Payroll, and IT teams to deliver highquality technical solutions across the Workday platform.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure and maintain Workday Time Tracking, including time entry codes, work schedules, time calculation rules, absence/time dependencies, and related business processes.
  • Design, develop, and support integrations using Workday Studio, Core Connectors, and EIBs to ensure seamless flow of time data to Payroll and HCM systems.
  • Build advanced custom reports, dashboards, and calculated fields using Workday Report Writer / Advanced Reporting.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable Workday technical solutions aligned with architecture and best practices.
  • Troubleshoot complex issues related to time calculations, integrations, pay impacts, and time validation logic.
  • Support testing (SIT/UAT), security reviews, deployments, and production enhancements with cross-functional teams.
Required Skills:

  • Strong hands-on experience with Workday Time Tracking configuration.
  • Workday Studio development experience (must-have).
  • Workday Report Writer / Advanced Reporting expertise (must-have).
  • Experience with Workday Payroll or Workday HCM (required).
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Experience with Workday Extend for custom app development.
  • Experience with Workday Prism Analytics for data pipelines and analytics models.
  • Knowledge of Workday Security, BIRT, and calculated fields.
