Senior Managers serve in an outward-facing, hands-on, and multi-faceted role combining project and engagement management, team leadership and material interaction with clients at both tactical and strategic levels.

While activities vary based on project size/scope and individual skill-sets and strengths, the Senior Manager can expect to spend considerable time on client-facing engagements through all project phases (pursuit to delivery), project management, and intensive data-analysis to implement impactful recommendations. Additionally, Senior Managers time will revolve around overall practice development, the mentorship of Coachees (when assigned), and general project/organizational administrative tasks.

Required:

• Deep expertise in Workday Student Financials within higher education, including design, implementation, and optimization with a Tier 1 Professional Services firm

• Proven leadership in large-scale Workday transformations, with the ability to guide client and consulting cross-functional teams, manage stakeholders, and drive adoption across academic and administrative units.

• Strategic mindset with the ability to align financial systems and processes to institutional goals, improve reporting/analytics, and enable data-driven decision-making.

• Strong understanding of higher education student financial operations and related compliance requirements.

• Excellent client-facing, communication, and change management skills, including executive-level presentation, training, and post-implementation support.

• Current Workday Student and Student Financials certification

• Functional expertise in student financials systems, regulations and processes; understanding of higher ed student financials requirements across various types of institutions

• Demonstrated knowledge in academic structure, organizational assessment, and strategic planning.

• Exceptional advanced Excel skills (including modeling and macros)

• An MBA or other relevant advanced degree

• Expertise in the HR and/or Financials function, processes and best practices

• Experience as a functional application specialist

• Excellent communication skills - oral and written - and the interpersonal skills needed quickly to establish relationships of trust and collaboration

• The ability to establish credibility in the eyes of senior-level university executives on the basis of expertise, maturity, and professionalism

• The ability to train and participate in the professional development of Huron staff in both project-management and technical dimensions

• Excellent time-management and prioritization skills

• The ability to manage multiple projects of differing scale and duration

• Strong analytical skills used to translate information from meetings into documentation that can be shared with meeting participants and project teams

• A desire and willingness to learn new tools, techniques, concepts, and methodologies

The estimated base salary range for this job is $165,000 - $190,000. The range represents a good faith estimate of the range that Huron reasonably expects to pay for this job at the time of the job posting. The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to specific skills or certifications, years of experience, market changes, and required travel. This job is also eligible to participate in Huron’s annual incentive compensation program, which reflects Huron’s pay for performance philosophy. Inclusive of annual incentive compensation opportunity, the total estimated compensation range for this job is $178,000 - $228,000. The job is also eligible to participate in Huron’s benefit plans which include medical, dental and vision coverage and other wellness programs. The salary range information provided is in accordance with applicable state and local laws regarding salary transparency that are currently in effect and may be implemented in the future
