Job Details:

Position: Workday HRIS Analyst

Location: Mountain View (preferred site), CA or San Francisco, CA

Start: ASAP

Duration: Contract 3+ Months with possible extension for the right person

Status: U.S. Citizens/Green Card ONLY


Notes:

Need to be able to configure, test, create and edit Workday (a must have) reports, not just be a user with Workday. This is not a technical position, so no one that has implemented Workday.

About the Position

Our Client is looking to fill a Workday HRIS Analyst contractor position to work in the Global People Operations team. This role will serve as a point of contact for HR systems day-to-day support and project work, acting as a liaison among users, internal teams, as well as with third party vendors. The position will report directly to the HR Data and Systems Manager.

About You

You have about 2-5 years' experience in Workday as an HRIS Analyst. You are passionate about people and data and are hands-on into solving problems and proposing solutions. You are knowledgeable in HR business processes, technology and operations. You excel at working independently but have a sound sense of teamwork and collaboration. You are an effective communicator, both written and oral, and can develop relationships and trust within the team as well as with broader partners at client site.

Responsibilities:

Provide day-to-day support on Workday systems configurations, reports, and troubleshooting.

Support day-to-day HR systems administrative support and act as liaison between the users; effective in cross-functional collaboration; prioritize and execute on tasks against technology road map

Develop and document business requirements and functional specifications, test plans and scenarios, lead and conduct user acceptance testing and implement solutions

Effectively balance work activities, tasks, deliverables and project timelines and identify risks and mitigations

Recommend strategies for continued process improvements, system enhancements and new applications to support business needs and operational efficiencies

Builds rapport with partners to keep them engaged and working towards deliverable goals and objectives

Need to be able to configure, test, create and edit Workday reports, not just be a user with Workday.


Qualifications

Education and Experience:

 2-5 years of Workday HRIS experience in an HR/Operations/Technology environment

 Ability to work globally and with cross-functional teams

 Worked on multiple, simultaneous projects and programs

 Excellent organizational skills to juggle many activities without losing sight of the highest priority items

 Comprehend complex concepts and make reasoned decisions with sometimes imperfect data

 Strong communication, relationship building and negotiation skills

 Experience working with a geographically-dispersed workforce through the use of video conferencing and Internet chat communications tools

 Workday Certifications in HCM/functional ability a plus

 Current SHRM, HRCI, and/or PMI-PBA/CAPM certification(s) a plus
