Work you'll do

As a Workday Financials Sr Consultant, you will lead project workstreams, identify and document business requirements, provide functional design, prototyping (including scenario design, flow mapping), testing, user training, defining support procedures. Additional duties may include: coordination of schedules, creation of documentation and collateral, creation and execution of test / use cases, configuration of Workday software, assisting with prioritization and sequencing of the workstream's efforts and assisting project leadership as required.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of consulting or industry experience in Workday Financials/ERP finance domain
  • 2+ years of experience leading Financials workstreams as well as project teams
  • Workday Financials Professional certification or capability to obtain upon joining
  • A minimum of 1 full life cycle Workday Financial implementation
  • Demonstrated knowledge in some combination of the following: Record to Report, Procure-to-Pay (PTP), Order-to-Cash (OTC)
  • Ability to travel 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
  • Bachelor's Degree or 8 years equivalent professional experience
  • Limited immigration sponsorship may be available

Preferred

  • An advanced degree in the area of specialization
  • Functional knowledge around financial systems and processes.
  • Experience defining systems strategy, developing systems requirements, designing and prototyping, testing, training, defining support procedures, and implementing practical business solutions under multiple deadlines Ability to work independently, manage small engagements or parts of large engagements

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $116,000 to $229,100.
