What You'll do:

Groundswell isseekinga highly skilledWorkday IntegrationLeadto lead the Integration workstream for a complex Workday implementation supporting an Intelligence Community customer. This individual willbe responsible forthe end-to-end design, development, testing, deployment, and delivery of integrations supporting the Workday solution and its broader enterprise technology ecosystem.

The Workday Integration Lead will work closely with the Solution Architect, Workday Delivery Lead, functional leads, Data Conversion team, security teams, customer technical stakeholders, and other implementation workstreams to ensure integrations are scalable, secure, reliable, and aligned with the overall solution architecture. This individual will lead a blended team of Groundswell and subcontractor integration resources and coordinate integration activities across multiple secure customer environments.

The ideal candidate will combine deep Workday integrationexpertise, broader enterprise integration and middleware experience, and strong technical leadership skills to successfully deliver a complex integration workstream within a highly secure Federal environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Integration workstream,operatingin parallel with Workday Configuration, Data Conversion, Testing, Security, and other implementation workstreams.

  • Develop and manage the integration strategy, plan, schedule, milestones, dependencies, and deliverables in alignment with the overall Workday implementation.

  • Lead the design, development, testing, deployment, and support of Workday integrations using Workday integration technologies and tools.

  • Design and coordinate integrations between Workday and external enterprise systems, applications, data sources, and services.

  • Develop integration solutions that mayleverageboth Workday-native capabilities and approved enterprise middleware or integration technologies.

  • Translate business and technical requirements into integration designs, specifications, mappings, and interface requirements.

  • Partner with the Solution Architect and customer technical stakeholders to ensure integration designs align with the overall solution architecture, security requirements, and enterprise standards.

  • Coordinate integration requirements and dependencies with Workday functional, Data Conversion, Security, Testing, and other technical workstreams.

  • Plan and coordinate integration development, testing, deployment, and validation across multiple secure customer environments.

  • Identifyand resolve integration defects, failures, performance issues, and technical dependencies throughout the implementation lifecycle.

  • Lead and coordinate Groundswell and subcontractor Integration team members, ensuring quality andtimelycompletion of assigned deliverables.

  • Identifyand manage integration risks, issues, and cross-workstream dependencies, escalating broader implementationimpactsto the Workday Delivery Lead.

  • Maintain required integration designs, specifications, mappings, interface documentation, test results, and implementation artifacts.

  • Provide regular status on Integration workstream progress, milestones, risks, dependencies, and readiness.

Work Location & Travel Requirements

  • Must be local to the Washington, DC metropolitan area (or willing torelocate) and willing to work onsite within customer SCIF environments 3-4 days per week.

  • Approximately 5% travel within the Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Virginia (DMV) region isrequired.

Required Qualifications:

  • U.S. Citizenshiprequiredper contract requirements.

  • Ability to obtain andmaintaina government Top Secret security clearance with SCI favorability andCounterintelligence(CI) polygraph, as required by contract.Candidates who currently hold an active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph will receive priority consideration.

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

  • 7+ years of relevant enterprise technology experience withsignificant experiencein HCM, HRIS, enterprise integrations, or related technologies.

  • 5+ years of Workday implementation experience withdemonstratedtechnical and integration leadership responsibilities.

  • Experience leading the Integration workstream for at least two (2) Workday implementations.

  • Current Workday Pro Workday Orchestrate Developer Services Certification.

  • Deep experience designing, developing, testing, and deploying Workday integrations using Workday integration technologies, including Orchestrate, Core Connectors, Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), Workday Web Services, and APIs.

  • Experience designing and architecting complex integrations between Workday and external enterprise systems.

  • Experience translating business and technical requirements into integration architecture, designs, specifications, mappings, and technical requirements.

  • Experience with enterprise integration patterns, APIs, web services, file-based integrations, event-driven architectures, and related technologies.

  • Experience coordinating integration activities across multiple systems, technical teams, and implementation workstreams.

  • Experience planning and supporting integration testing, defect resolution, deployment, and production readiness activities.

  • Demonstrated experience leading technical teams, including consultants and/or subcontractor resources.

  • Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills for complex integration issues.

  • Strong customer-facing, communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and technical dependencies within a complex implementation environment.

PreferredQualifications:

  • Experience designing enterprise integrations using middleware or integration platforms in addition to Workday-native integration capabilities. (e.g.Boomi, Apache Kafka, MuleSoft).

  • Experience integrating Workday with complex legacy and enterprise systems across HR, payroll, identity, financial, or other business domains.

  • Experience supporting integrations across multiple secure customer environments.

  • Experience with Workday Extend and/or Workday Prism.

  • Additional Workday technical or integration certifications.

  • Familiarity with Federal enterprise architecture and interoperability requirements.

  • Familiarity with NIST security controls and Federal cybersecurity requirements.

  • Experience working with cybersecurity teams to address security requirements associated with system-to-system interfaces and data exchanges.

  • Experience leading blended teams consisting of employees, subcontractors, and other technology partners.

The salary range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Groundswell, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is:
